Alvarez back. Was Mavropanos injured? Looked like it. if so he will play Aguerd who is awful aerally and positionally.
He will persist with JWP and Paqueta out of position. Cresswell another that is exposed in the air.
Antonio will play. Moyes now knows his best chance of Europe is now the Conference next season. His comments about Leverkusen being Champs League level means he’s not expecting to get anything in the return leg.
Same players flogged and tired at 70 mins. Change made only early if we concede early. Im seeing more injuries and unrest with a draw or defeat as Fulham will dominate possession.
Its over for Moyes. We are on a slow death march now to season end imo. His squad management and tactics etc to fully unravel.

A win Sunday and a win against Palace and we’ll be looking good for another round of Europe again next year.
Loving all the European games, makes a welcome change.
Anyway, it will be a hard turnaround but Moysies boys can do it. Fulham are already on holiday, so I’m going for a close win in this one.

We have seen in recent seasons with league games inbetween European games Moyes still goes full strength and to be fair it's worked out well. Then again he doesn't want to use the squad anyway, so shouldn't really be a surprise. So expect full strength here, maybe if we were only one down in Europe he may have rested Antonio, but he's pretty much wrote Europe off now since we are playing a CL side and this is a big game in its own right.
Btw, what happened to Zouma only being able to play once a week?

Earthy & Orford flew back from Germany and played (and each scored) in the u21's 2-0 win v Norwich at Carrow Rd yesterday.
Marshall also started
u21's back top of the league with one more match to play but Tottenham 3pts back have 3 games in hand. Hopefully goes SPURSY but we will finish at least 2nd
Another excellent season from these lads after the u18's exploits last season
Hopefully the new manager will use them next season

Some injuries and team selection needed this week.
Areola has a groin pull, maybe back 27 April, Mavropanos, knock late fitness test, Bowen lower back no return date, Phillips thigh no return date. Nothing about Alvarez, suppose he can return.
I'd rest Mavropanos, whatever and Antonio.

I'm pretty certain Antonio will start, even more so with Bowen out. Moyes probably views this game as more important than Thursday now.

Let’s hope we can get the points needed for another Euro campaign next season even if only Conference. Agree with others that Europa L is loo looking v unlikely.
Then when Moyes leaves, as I strongly believe her will, we can have a new manager with a Euro campaign ahead.
I am at the point that I don’t care at all who takes the reins at West Ham as long as we start playing football that is more enjoyable to watch. There have been very few performances in the past I’ve enjoyed watching at all.

I think the players could be pissed off with how they were asked to play in the week in a quarter final of a worthwhile European cup and then slagged off for failing to park the bus with or 33 shots. It’s what they’ve worked towards and they wasn’t set up to even have a bit of a threat.
This is a hard game to get back to winning ways…..but we have a master a getting the troops ready don’t we?

Geo was saying that Arsenal need to beat Bayen Munich for the PL to likely get a 5th CL place, so you might need to finish 7th just to get a Conference spot.
